PR Engineering Africa was appointed to deliver a turnkey HVAC solution for the iconic Gorgeous George Hotel in Cape Town's CBD, in collaboration with a leading specialist HVAC contractor. The project formed part of the adaptive reuse and redevelopment of two historic heritage buildings into a boutique luxury hotel featuring premium accommodation, public spaces, and the renowned GiGi Rooftop restaurant and bar. The HVAC systems were carefully integrated within the existing building fabric to provide exceptional guest comfort, energy efficiency, and operational reliability while preserving the architectural character of this award-winning hospitality destination.
